Schmetterling gears up

Schmetterling GmbH and Co KG, Germany's biggest independent travel agent cooperation, invited 500 of its partner travel agents and tour operators to their annual meeting held in Dubrovnik from the 3rd to the 5th of May. The main subject was the future o the travel trade, with focus on new technologies.

Destinat's and Schmetterling's CEO Anya Müller-Eckert welcomed the participants in the Rixos Hotel.

An interesting open discussion with several CEOs of Germany's most important tour operators took place.

Destinat's partner Company GIATA (CEO Remzi Aru) presented their newest development: GIATA Newsfeeds.

Destinat's partner hubermedia (CEO Stefan Huber) presented their destination maps and mobile apps.

The importance of making the descision making and booking experience more modern with the newest technologies was underlined.
