Egypt is downright predestined for solar power generation. Not only the many hours of sunshine and open spaces, but as the many secluded places to which it has been very expensive to provide power to just scream for solar power.

Destinat organized around the leadership of Europe's largest solar energy field at Neuhardenberg Airport for Egypt's Ambassador to Germany, His Excellency Mohamed Higazy together with airport CEO Uwe Hädicke and Rudolf Haas of the Board of Enfo AG. The Ambassador was interested and impressed by Neuhardenberg project.

The head of the tourism department of the Egyptian Consulate Mr. Mohamed Gamal is committed to solar energy and cooperation between Egypt and Germany, so that in the near future of Egypt's first hotel can be powered with solar energy.
