Destinat on the QTA annual conference in Luxor

This coming Friday, October 17, 2014, the QTA annual conference begins in Luxor, expected to attract over 1000 participants. The QTA is Europe's largest association of travel agency collaborations and the meeting is an important step to bring cultural tourism back to Egypt after years of crisis. It is also expected that media representatives and decision-makers from airlines and tour operators will attend.

There is an attractive framework program, a travel show and various workshops and lectures for the participants. At the opening ceremony in the Karnak temple tourism minister Hisham Zasou is expected, a gala dinner at the end is taking place at the Luxor Temple. It offers Nile Cruises and excursions. Venues of the conference are the Steigenberger Nile Palace Hotel and the Sonesta St. George Hotel.

Major General Victor Abu Zeid, director of security police in Luxor, is responsible for the safety of the guests during the conference, to ensure safety in the three hotels and visiting the sights, in close cooperation with the tourism police.
