The whole QTA-annual meeting with various events was organized perfectly and impressed all visitors, especially because the commitment to Luxor as a replacement location for the insecure Jerusalem, was very short. The hundreds of participants did not notice anything, everything was great.
A well-attended traveling exhibition took place at the Steigenberger Luxor, an interesting program in the temples and various lectures for the participating travel agents from all over Germany. For example, Schmetterling presented interesting contributions.
Yesterday (18/10/2014) evening the final gala dinner this year QTA-annual meeting (we reported) took place. Set amid beautiful backdrop of the illuminated Luxor Temple a great program was held.
Especially moving was the appearance of the Orchestra "Al Nour Wal Amal" ("Light and Hope") originating from Cairo. The special feature is that the Egyptian orchestra is formed by 56 blind women and girls playing both classical and oriental music. The orchestra consists of all groups of instruments: strings, woodwinds, brass and percussion.
